The global warming alarmists (GWA) state unequivocally that the "science is settled." If so, why can't it come close to predicting the warming trends of the planet (see below)

This long reference also addresses some of the excuses the GWA crowd are giving. The bottom line however is quite simple.
This discrepancy was totally unexpected and is totally unexplained using the "settled science" of the GWA crowd. For them to continue to claim they are even more confident of the human involvement (IPCC Fifth and latest Summary) is absurd.
