THE REAL TRUTH OF THE BELL WITCH LEGEND

   In 2002 we published on the Internet the first skeptical review of the Bell Witch legend.  It started out simply as out log of our search for the facts.  "In route" we met several serious researchers who have examined this legend in great detail, but none of them could find real evidence.  Our final summary of this log can be found at.

   As a side trip in this search, we looked into the history of the times when the Bell Witch was claimed to have occurred.  We have added that to the above noted blog.  A great historical find was Edward Albright's Early History of Middle Tennessee which you can read on-line.
